Walking in Nature...

Are you intimidated by the thought of going into a counselling office?  Would you rather process your feelings while walking outdoors and talking with someone who is qualified, intuitive, and compassionate?   If you're looking for professional support and guidance through a challenging situation or you're ready to move in a new direction in your life, walk the trails with Lisa in the serene setting of the North Shore in order to discover new possibilities.  I graduated with a Masters Degree in Social Work from the University of Toronto in 2001 and I'm a Registered Clinical Social Worker with the BC College of Social Workers.

I can be reached privately at 778.848.7100

“Outdoor Therapy uses walking in nature to provide growth experiences that can help people make fundamental, positive, and lasting changes in their lives.”

"Always having my sights on solutions and possibilities helps me stay the course with the individuals with whom I walk alongside."

I work with people who have a wide range of emotional and behavioral issues which span from therapy for anxiety and depression, brain injury and beyond.  Having the additional qualification of being a Registered Clinical Social Worker allows me to independently use the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM 5) in the assessment, diagnoses, treatment, and prevention of mental, emotional, and behavioural disorders and conditions.

Much like our bodies need movement, our thought patterns that keep us stuck need movement too.  By learning to shift your goals and priorities, and accepting your limitations, you will be able to re-establish your self worth and discover new possibilities.

Together we'll walk the trails of the North Shore, set goals, and work towards solutions to help you move forward with life in ways that you want to.  I invite you to contact me for a therapy consultation today. I can be reached privately at 778.848.7100
